My Life with Twin Sons

Reflecting on 2008

A lot has happened to our family as the year has gone on. We have been good times and bad times and even rough times but we stuck by each other and got thru them. I’ll make bullet points of them, or some.

•Casino went Class III and is growing bigger. Which means more hours!!

•Boys are getting big. Both are talking more to the point you can understand them more.

•They are still shy when they meet new people but once they warm up they are the sweet as can be.

•We had to in July, had to make the hardest decision and put my MIL into a nursing home, where she is better taken care of. We tried taking care of her ourselves but we couldn’t with the boys, the stress was way to much.

•We learned that we need to get our papers in order and not let what has happened with my MIL, happen to our kids when we get older.

•The practice that I work for got its own office, which it needed in a major way. I wish it all the best in the new year.

•We have had people show us their true colors and sorry to say people will reap what they sow, and will get what they deserve what the outcome will be.

•We have gotten back in touch with 2 sets of different friends that we have been out of touch for a while now. We hope to keep it the way it is for the next year.

•I ventured out on Black Friday for the first time and saved a lot of money too.

•It was fun to watch the boys faces as it came closer to Christmas. They were all into it this year. Santa played a big part in our house this year. The boys still to this day sleep with their favorite toy every night.

•I have had to cut ties with a person in my life, but its for the better with all that are involved. The person in question isn’t going to like it but its something I have to do.

•Alot of people that I read online are having babies or moving into new homes.

I know there is more but ill go back and look later. I want to wish you all a Happy New Year and I hope that next year will be better then the last. Now to check out a sleep number bed for a better nights sleep.

Family day..

Well it was a family day but got turned into a bunch of us getting together heading to Sea World for the day. Then it turned ugly. The other 2 couples that we were to meet up with at sea world at the main gate, ditched us. It would have been fine otherwise, but one of the guys gave us his sons pass so we could have preferred parking. So we all waited and then I took the boys in to get a stroller, M went back out front and waited. Now you might be think, call his cell, we did his battery was dead. So he had his phone turned off, there are so many thongs that are wrong so far but ill give him the benefit of the doubt, only cuz it had spread that at 12 noon they were turning people away. The place was packed and shows were sold out. So I’m sitting down and writing out a plan of attack so the boys can see shows. I am thinking about getting a fossil watches for all of us so we can stay on track the day we are there. The boys loved what they saw and that is what matters.

Happy Holidays

Its late in the day and everyone is sleeping off all the excitment of the day. We might all need Fentraphen after all that we put away.

For the boys it started off last night at the annual christmas party we attend every year. As always they kids are well taken care of. Every year that we attend there is a toy that they latch on to that they get there that they play with forever. This year it was their aunt and uncles present of Tonka dump truck and tonka digger. They have slept with them and take them eveywhere. These are not small either. They had great fun and enjoyed the day. I had gotten them Leapster2′s but they aren’t all into it just yet but its cute cuz they call them PDA’s its so cute. They want to be like a cartoon charm they watch. I have to start cleaning and packing up the house cuz we are moving but I’ll go into that later.
